Lime Leaf Gin Prawns



Aprils Innovation, Lime Leaf Gin, is a Thai twist on the Signature Batch recipe. Introducing botanicals such as lime leaf, galangal and jasmine, our distiller has created a perfect match with some of our existing flavours like lemongrass and orange peel.
As ever, we were inspired by our travels; a fusion of other cultures and the flavours that tingle our taste buds encouraged this experimentation. Two of our shareholders toured South East Asia and their excitement for Thai food, its flavours and the way its citrus notes work on the palate were all we needed to get creative.
With a fresh, powerful aroma and intense citrus notes on the palate, this is a clean, fresh gin. A citrus burst finish and lingering sweetness make this gin refreshing and moreish.
Because of our love for Thai food we’ve created this delicious recipe using Lime Leaf Gin. You could always substitute the prawns for chicken, or to make it veggie try it with quorn or diced aubergine. It serves two as a starter

Serve with a Lime Leaf g&t

50ml Lime Leaf Gin
Naturally light tonic
Hibiscus petals
Fill a Copa glass with ice, swirl to cool the glass and drain excess water. Add gin, top up with tonic and garnish with hibiscus.
