It inspires us to come up with fantastic new cocktails or to rework the classics. Batch Innovations provides me with new material and ideas every month.
Today I’m going to make a cocktail which uses Buddha’s Hand Gin. It has a range of Chinese botanicals including Buddha’s Hand, which has a wonderful earthy, citrus flavour, as well as Szechuan pepper and chrysanthemum. The cocktail I’m making is based on the Buddhist principle of ‘Love and Affection’. It combines Batch Buddhas Hand Gin with the distinctive Chinese spirit Baijiu.

Buddha’s Hand, Moutai Baiju, pineapple, Lime, crushed pink pepper and szechuan pepper, chilli essence, grapefruit.
