Batch Distillery are thrilled to announce Lancashire Women as our nominated Charity of the year!
Lancashire Women are working towards a community where all women are valued, treated as equals, and are empowered to be able to transform their lives. As a company in the heart of Lancashire that has a strong female workforce, Batch are delighted to be fundraising for a charity that supports the women of our community to reach their highest potential, and to build happier and more positive lives. The ethos of the charity closely mirrors that of our own – our aim is to create a flexible, fulfilling working environment, which places our employees at the centre of everything we do. We pride ourselves on having a creative, supportive and fun environment.
We kicked off our sponsorship with Lancashire Women’s Charity Ball, held on Friday 6th of March 2020, ahead of International Women’s Day. As proud supporters of the charity, we provided guests with welcome drinks, auctioned off a distillery tour with unlimited G&T’s – which sold for £120! and provided a bottle of our international award-winning, Industrial Strength Gin and Batch copa glasses as a game prize. Some of Team Batch were lucky enough to attend the ball and gain a little more understanding of the hard work that the Lancashire Women team put into events like this, and into their daily charity work. The ball raised a total of £5,500! We can’t wait to get involved with future events and help raise more money!
Operation Manager, Johdi, and Marketing Manager, Molly, were joined by shareholders Rich and Claire and shared a table with representatives from Evans Halshaw Blackburn Ford.
Who are Lancashire Women?
Through their network of female-only centres across the county, Lancashire Women offer free services to improve mental and emotional wellbeing. They aim to give advice on managing money, benefits and debt, helping women to improve their skills and knowledge, and to gain employment. As a safe place to meet others and build friendships, Lancashire Women not only enriches the lives of individual women, but works towards building a better, stronger Lancashire for all. We’ll raise a glass to that!
