Brought to you by Batch and gin club member Michael, this is our fifth Club Collab recipe. Unusual and intriguing it features chocolate, chilli and banana. In Michael’s words – weird but it works! ABV 40%.

A playful twist on a sloe gin, this gin uses our Signature recipe as a base and is aged with whinberries. We add a minimum of sugar syrup to ensure this rich gin remains sharp with bold, fruity notes.

Jasmine Tea is subtle and floral. With sweet blossoms on the nose, its earthy notes from yerba mate and matcha green tea are balanced with delicious sweet jasmine and hints of citrus. Pair with elderflower tonic and a slice of lemon. ABV 42%.

Batch Orange Gin has a zesty aroma. Packed with orange and grapefruit, and balanced with lemon, lime, ginger and cloves, this gin is packed full of juicy citrus and complementary warming spices. Garam Masala – India Edition

Garam Masala Gin is an exploration of Indian ingredients. A blend of spices including tamarind, fenugreek and bay leaf are combined with traditional botanicals. Subtle heat and sweetness are balanced with gentle warmth and spice, resulting in depth and complexity. 44% ABV.

Cool Yule Gin

Cool Yule Gin is full of Christmas spices such as cloves, cardamom and cinnamon, blended with sweet and zingy candied citrus fruits. With rich cranberry and citrus fruits on the nose and luscious, seasonal spices on the palate, this gin has an abundance of festive flavours. 40% ABV.

Train to Hoi An Gin 2023

Inspired by our travels across Southeast Asia, Train to Hoi An Gin delivers unusual notes from the botanicals, durian and betel nut. Balanced with exotic lime leaf,lemongrass and cardamom, the results are a sweet and fruity gin with a smooth and creamy finish. 40% ABV.

Riparian Zone Gin

Riparian Zone Gin was inspired by a dream our distiller, Ryan had. Taking inspiration from that very dream, he began working on a new method of distilling and this is an experimental recipe from along the way. Using juicy watermelon and cooling mint, this is a refreshing gin and is the heart of what we do – innovation! 40% ABV.

Introducing our wild card! We have barrel-aged a scrumptious spiced gin, giving it a whole new dimension. Bold and oaky, it’s guaranteed to disrupt your palate – in a good way, we promise. With notes of tropical fruits, balanced with gentle spice, will you drink it with tonic or go wild and try it with cola? 44% ABV.

Cook Out Gin

Working alongside the Haffners team, we have masterminded Cook Out Gin. Fragrant and savoury, we’ve taken herbs, spices and citrus that Haffners would usually stuff into a sausage. Pear, orange and lemon – along with sage, rosemary and bay leaves – finished with smoked applewood and allspice. All carefully crafted into a delicious gin. 40% ABV.

It’s all Greek Gin 2023

This winning recipe from the 2020 Club Member Collab was inspired by Anna. She chose the botanicals olive, oregano and tomato for us to work with. We took these and balanced them with other ingredients such as lemon, peppers and orange to craft a herbaceous, savoury gin. 43% ABV.

California Dreaming Gin

Inspired by our Innovations Club member Sean. He chose these citrusy botanicals while sipping cocktails in Santa Barbara. Lemon, lime and pine needles are distilled  with a super summery twist. This is a gin with heaps of sunshine and summer vibes; crisp, clean and refreshing. 40% ABV.

Lime Leaf Gin

Lime Leaf Gin is Thai inspired. With an abundance of fragrant and aromatic botanicals such as lime leaf, galangal and jasmine, it’s influenced by our travels across Thailand and the food and drink we tasted on our journey. This is a vibrant gin with dominant citrus notes and a strong juniper backbone. 42% ABV.

Inspired by famous Italian flavours that you might usually find on top of a pizza, we have carefully selected the most delicious combination of flavours to tickle your taste buds. Oregano, basil and tomato are balanced with nduja, pepper and parmigiano to bring this savoury gin alive. Salute! 42% ABV

Pear & Blackberry Gin 2023

This gin is distilled with berries, pear, cinnamon and other warming spices. We then age it with more pear and blackberries. With rich and fruity flavours, Pear and Blackberry Gin is finished with just a touch of our delicious jammy syrup. 40% ABV.

Buddha’s Hand Gin 2023

Buddha’s Hand Gin is inspired by classic Chinese flavours. Juicy buddha’s hand and pomelo, along with sweet jujube, are balanced with the fragrant notes of sichuan pepper, star anise, ginger and chrysanthemum. This limited edition label was created exclusively for our Gin Club members. 40% ABV

Merry Citrus Gin

Packed with Christmassy flavours of fruit and spice, Merry Citrus is a gin full of festive cheer. Sharp orange and tart cranberries are balanced with sweet, juicy clementine and cinnamon, alongside warming and fragrant cloves and ginger. This is a dry gin with yuletide flavours that savour the festive season. 40% ABV.

Botanical Breaker Gin is a party on your palate! Created with over 100 botanicals we have balanced a complex blend of fruits, florals, herbs and spices. With every sip you’ll experience something unique and different – from woody and herbal notes on the nose, to smoky notes on the palate, through to an earthy, well-rounded finish. 42% ABV.

Black Cat Gin

Black Cat Gin is a collaboration with Moorhouses Brewery – taking inspiration from the Junga Hop, used in their limited edition Black Cat Reserve. We have crafted this spooky edition gin with blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry, to mirror the fruity notes found in this hop. This spellbinding potion will get your taste buds tingling! 40% ABV.

Gin Rummy Volume 4

This Gin Rummy is the fourth edition in our barrel-aged gin series. Volume four has a sweet, fresh aroma that leads to notes of vibrant citrus and juniper. Balanced with hints of rum, taken from ageing the liquid in our PX barrels, this gin has a bold, oaky warmth. Serve like a rum with cola, or as a G&T – the decision is yours.

Herb Pillow Gin

Batch Herb Pillow Gin has a herbaceous profile featuring rosemary, mugwort, hops, rose and lavender. Inspired by an Elizabethan Herb Pillow in the Gawthorpe Textiles Collection, they were designed to hold a selection of fragrant dried herbs and flowers that would infuse stored clothing and household linens with a pleasant scent. 40% ABV.

Mocha Gin

Mocha Gin is inspired by Distiller, Ryan, and his love for this chocolatey-coffee beverage. A sweet, rich aroma leads to notes of dark roast coffee, balanced with waves of creamy chocolate. With notes of honeyed fig and praline, this gin is luscious and indulgent. ABV 37.5%.

Mandu Gin

Mandu Gin is inspired by our Innovations Club member, Lily, and her choice of botanicals! A savoury aroma leads to notes of sweet black garlic, balanced with warming ginger and chilli on the palate. With earthy notes from wild mushrooms, this Korean-inspired winning recipe is aromatic and packed full of unusual flavours. 40% ABV.

Batch X Defiance Gin

Batch X Defiance Gin is a collaboration between two award-winning, North West distilleries. A fresh aroma, with savoury notes on the palate are balanced with herbaceous rosemary, thyme and carrot. This gin is packed full of botanicals you would find in an English heritage garden. ABV 40%.

Cinco de Mayo Gin

Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican inspired gin. A smoky aroma, with fruity undertones on the palate are balanced with sharp citrus, cocoa and toasted coconut. Aged for over 12 months in tequila barrels, this gin is bold and lively, inspired by the Cinco De Mayo celebration. 43% ABV.

Just The Ticket Gin

Just the Ticket Gin is a crisp London Dry. A savoury, floral aroma with fruity undertones on the palate, balanced with mouth-watering citrus and piney juniper. An ode to our former Head Distiller, this release is a tribute to Ollie. Cheers! 45% ABV.

Jiang Shang Gin

Jiang Shang Gin is an explosion of tropical fruits. A juicy, sweet aroma with notes of guava and passion fruit on the palate are balanced with punchy juniper and savoury coriander, leading to a lush finish. Naturally coloured with hibiscus to represent the Chinese Opera Mask of Jiang Shang. 40% ABV

Chatni Gin

This spirit joins our Inspired by India collection. Chatni Gin features a blend of Asian ingredients. Sweet and spicy with notes of juicy mango, this aromatic gin includes botanicals such as amchoor, nigella, chilli and a rich mango syrup. ABV 37.5%.

Christmas Cookie Gin

Christmas Cookie Gin is inspired by the festive flavours of Lebkuchen biscuits. With warming spices such as cloves, allspice, ginger and nutmeg, balanced with sweet honey and luscious apricot, we have created a gin full of yuletide joy. It has a light spicy aroma, with sweet honey on the palate and a fiery ginger finish. 40% ABV.

Whinberry Gin

Gin Rummy Volume 3

The third edition of our barrel-aged gin series. Industrial Strength Gin is distilled with pear and aged in a PX Sherry Cask Rum barrel, adding a rich, golden hue. The result is a complex spirit that balances sweetness with oaky notes, that can be enjoyed with either tonic or cola.

Aggie’s Shack Gin

Aggie’s Shack Gin is inspired by our Innovations Club member, Glenn, and hisadventures in Goa. From his selection of exoticfruit and spices we developed this month’s winning recipe. Initial sweet notes on the palate give way to a wave of heat, leading to a subtle coconut finish. 42% ABV.

Ginavit Gin

Ginavit is our take our take on the Scandinavian spirit Aquavit, with added juniper transforming the traditional recipe into a gin. Ginavit is distilled with classic aquavit botanicals dill and caraway, balanced with fennel, anise, citrus and juniper. The result is refreshing citrus on the pallet, giving way to a savoury profile with a full-bodied juniper finish. ABV 40%.


April 2021

Cloud Forest Gin

Distilled in collaboration with Samara Gin, Cloud Forest uses Costa Rican botanicals. Banana leaf and annatto seeds are balanced with Batch favourites orange peel and cardamom, creating a savoury, slightly spicy and aromatic gin. ABV 40%.

Cat’s Paw Gin

Cat’s Paw Gin is inspired by traditional Old Tom recipes dating back to the 18th century. Distilled with 14 botanicals it balances spices such ascardamom and cloves with a sweet lemon, ginger and honey syrup. Sweet and peppery on the nose, while on the palette, sweet notes give way to a smooth, liquorice finish. ABV 37.5%

Broken Biscuits Rum

Caribbean white rum is aged in a barrel with fresh lemon, vanilla pods and oats. Inspired by Junior Distiller Ryan’s days of coming home to bags of Farmhouse’s broken lemon biscuits, this rum has sweet lemon notes with a creamy finish.

Taking all the incredible flavours of our multi-award winning Industrial Strength Gin we have crafted this moreish, contemporary London dry gin with a more approachable strength. A beautifully balanced profile featuring delicate citrus leading to a bold and punchy juniper finish.

Christmas Gin 2020

During 2020 we sent an extra special bottle of Innovations out each month, to our “Member of the Month”. For December we decided to reward all of our loyal members with a bottle of Christmas Gin personalised with their name. The gin is a twist on Batch Signature with slightly emphasised orange peel.

Inspired by the recent isolation rules and the stark familiarity to the Stephen king classic – The Shining, Ollie wanted to produce a “Red Rum”… but what would that be? He posed a question to the team: What flavour is red? Red ice pops, red fizzy drinks, a somewhat ambiguous flavour.

Beet of a Different Drum Gin

Peddler’s Pins Gin

Distilled in the shadows of Pendle Hill, shrouded in mystery and tales of witchcraft. Peddler’s Pins Gin is inspired by a curse at the centre of England’s most infamous witch trials. Hand crafted with herbs locally available to the Pendle Witches and renowned for their healing properties. Waves of delicate sour cherry give way to a herby profile with peppery juniper and a subtle sweetness.

Batch Gin Rummy has a sugarcane base spirit, distilled with gin botanicals. It is then aged in a barrel wepreviously used for ageing our Totally Tropical rum. Zheng Lun Botanical Blend

Zheng Lun Botanical Blend is packed full of exotic, juicy fruits. Sweet and refreshing notes of passion fruit, guava and lychee are balanced with popped lotus seed and aromatic Sichuan pepper. This is the second product from Batch’s Junior Distiller, following the release of Apprentice’s Vodka.

Tagine is a Moroccan inspired gin, distilled with a blend of spices including cumin, ginger, sumac and cinnamon. The flavours are balanced with sweet medjool dates, apricot and sharp lemon. Packed full of flavour, the vibrant colour comes from compounding with saffron.

Batch Banana Cake Rum is rich, sweet and vibrant. Caribbean white rum is barrel-aged and infused with banana, dates and walnuts. Inspired by indulgent, sticky banana cake, this rum has luxurious caramel notes and a creamy banana finish.

Ch-ch-ch-ch Changes is a fun and fruity botanical blend. It combines vibrant flavours such as apricot, lemon and raspberries. Bursting with berry notes, we recommend serving this botanical blend with Mediterranean tonic and watch as the colour changes.

Christmas Gin

Batch Christmas Gin is distilled with frankincense and myrrh, and filled with edible gold. Shake to reveal a sparkly snow globe. This gin has an abundance of festive flavours including warming nutmeg, sweet cinnamon and earthy pine. Garnish with orange and cinnamon stick.

Whinberry Gin

A berry local to Lancashire, the whinberry takes centre stage in this gin. Steeped in Batch Signature Gin with a minimum of sugar, and aged in a former Cognac barrel, this is not what you’d expect from a typical sloe. A complex spirit which balances well with ginger ale, or splashed in prosecco.

Buddha’s Hand Gin is inspired by classic Chinese flavours including sichuan pepper, star anise, ginger and chrysanthemum. Botanicals such as Buddha’s hand and pomelo result in delicate, citrus notes on the nose, and a subtly spiced finish. Combined with more traditional botanicals this is a remarkable, well-balanced gin.

Inspired by our travels, this rum has been barrel aged in a PX Sherry cask, purchased on a family holiday to Córdoba. A full bodied golden rum with notes of rich, dried fruits. Bold and oaky with notes of creamy toffee.

Lime Leaf Gin

A Thai twist on the signature Batch recipe introduces botanicals such as lime leaf, galangal and jasmine. With a fresh, powerful aroma and intense citrus notes on the palate, this gin was inspired by our love for Thai food and its vibrant flavours. A citrus burst and lingering sweetness make this gin refreshing and moreish.

Big Trouble Gin

Paying homage to the days when Batch was produced in the basement of our Distiller’s house, this gin is inspired by Shih Tzu, Lo Pan. The distillery dog would scratch at the floorboards from above to notify his master that the gin was ready. A contemporary London Dry Gin.

Ginception Gin

Ginception Gin is a collaboration between Batch’s Head Distiller and Ginception Bar. Given a brief of ‘summer’, our distiller has created a juniper forward gin with notes of juicy peach. Pair with elderflower tonic and garnish with peach, raspberry and a sprig of rosemary.

Long Dog Gin

This is a bold and vibrant spirit, packed full of citrus flavours. A combination of 15 carefully balanced botanicals produce a rich and smooth gin with blood orange and red grapefruit notes. Distilled by Batch for a client, this was an exclusive release to Innovations Club members.

Long Yin Gin

Distilled by us at Batch HQ but exported to China, this is the first time Long Yin Gin has been available in the UK – exclusively to our members. A range of Chinese botanicals are balanced with juniper to deliver a refreshing, sweet G&T.

Apple and Honey Gin

Batch Apple and Honey Gin was originally created for Rosh Hashanah. Our Head Distiller was inspired by the tradition of dipping apples in honey and used these flavours to produce a sweet, mellow gin. This was the first collaboration in the Innovations Club collection.

USA Breakfast Rum

USA Breakfast Rum is barrel-aged. Inspired by classic American breakfast pancakes, it is spiced with maple syrup, pecan nuts and blueberries. This results in a sweet, rich spirit.

Pear and Blackberry Gin

A twist on our Pendleside Pear and Cinnamon edition, this ginis distilled and compounded with pear and blackberries. The addition of ginger and cinnamon syrup results in an abundance of festive flavours. This gin is sweet, fruity and subtly spiced.

Colour Changing Raspberry Vodka

Raspberry Vodka a fruity botanical blend, combining apricot, thyme, cranberries, lemon and of course, raspberries. The flavours are balanced to deliver a sweet, berry spirit. Pour in a Mediterranean tonic and watch it change.

Halloween Potion

Double, double this gin spells trouble. Fire up the stills and let them bubble! Flesh of lime, skin of lemon. Will this potion be your venom? Finger of citron, head of rose. You will still get juniper on the nose. Guts of pumpkin, tears of Satan. The White Lady of Towneley will awaken.

Gin Rummy v1

Batch Gin Rummy is a cask-aged spirit, made by ageing Batch Gin in the same barrels used for Innovations release #3 – Batch Sherry Cask Rum. With an unusual flavour profile, this complex spirit is a nod to our playful and experimental nature.

Hop Vodka

Hop Vodka is a unusual combination of Sorachi Ace hops and botanicals such as dill, orange and lemongrass. This is a savoury, citrus vodka and was a collaboration between our Head Distiller and Northern Whisper Brewing Co. Best paired with lemon tonic, or used in a Bloody Mary.

Jasmine Tea Gin

Jasmine Tea is a subtle, floral gin. With an abundance of summer blossoms on the nose, this deliciously fragrant gin has a soft, lingering sweetness. Botanicals including rose, yerba mate, matcha and jasmine make this gin a perfect pair with elderflower tonic or a floral lemonade.

Absinthe Gin

The first of its kind: Absinthe Gin balances the classic flavour of the Green Fairy with juniper. Distilled with wormwood, hyssop, anise and fennel, on the nose this is a savoury gin with hints of coriander. On the palate it gives way to a sweet yet herbaceous profile.

Apprentice’s Vodka

A fruity vodka distilled with apple, raspberry, blueberry and vanilla, this Innovation is the Batch Apprentice’s takeover! Created under the watchful eye of our Head Distiller, this vodka is extremely smooth and showcases an up and coming talent! Best paired with sweet vodka based cocktails or Mediterranean tonic.

Sherry Cask Rum

This golden rum has been barrel-aged in a PX Sherry Cask, resulting in a subtle sweetness and a smooth spirit. On the nose it delivers intense notes of rich, juicy dried fruits and sticky toffee pudding. On the palate, indulge in hints of vanilla and a wash of caramel.

Industrial Strength Gin

Industrial Strength Gin is the our take on a Navy Gin and a nod to the industrial heritage of our hometown, Burnley. It is an overproof twist on our signature gin – sweet lemon notes on the nose, with powerful juniper giving way to a smooth and lingering citrus finish.
