This Ghostly Gimlet is made with October’s Innovations Club release, Haunted Orchard Gin – a dry gin balanced with sweet notes from apple, fig and treacle syrup.
Inspired by all things Halloween, we chose this ghoulish cocktail for October’s spooky spirit. An autumnal twist on the classic gimlet, with muddled, seasonal, fig. Just the trick to warm the cockles as the colder nights draw in.
You will need
50ml Haunted Orchard Gin
2 figs
Sprig of fresh thyme
Lime, juiced
15ml simple Syrup
Method
Add the fig, thyme and lime juice to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add the gin, simple syrup and ice, shake well! Strain into a coupe class and garnish with fig and thyme.
