The days are (finally!) getting longer and here in Burnley, by the end of this month, the sun won’t set until going up for 8pm – yeeehaaaw! It feels like it’s been a long winter at HQ, so we are VERY excited to bring you this bottle of sunny side up gin! It’s going to take you right through spring with its juicy notes and feel-good vibes.
This gin was originally distilled for one of our trade customers who just had to have a Batch Orange Gin in their collection. We knew it was that good, that you deserved it too!
Ryan says:
“One of my favourite styles to work with is a citrus leading gin and this Orange Gin is tasty, sweet and sour – all at the same time. After working on Merry Citrus Gin a couple of years ago, I realised that orange is a great, versatile botanical and I wanted to come up with a orange product that was more suited to the warmer weather and more of an all-rounder. As we head into spring and the whether is getting better, I wanted to lower the amount of warming spices we associate with the winter months. Using both the flesh and peel of the orange, along with other citrus fruits such as grapefruit and lime, it’s sure to bring some amazing flavours to the table. For me, Orange Gin is a winner and I love the colour too!”.
Perfect Serve
Served with Indian tonic and garnish with a wedge of orange and a sprig of thyme.
Orange Blossom Cocktail
25ml Batch Orange Gin
25ml sweet vermouth
25ml orange juice
Orange slice to garnish
Add the gin, sweet vermouth and orange juice into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled glass & garnish with an orange slice.
